Red Lead for glass

Red lead is used in the production of crystal glass.

The production takes place in two stages using lead with a minimum quality of 970 R.

The first stage is acquiring lead(II) oxide from Barton’s oxidizer. The next step involves furnacing to red lead.

We are the most important supplier of minium in the glass industry. Our product is characterized by an exceptionally high purity and a high degree of oxidation (up to 33% of PbO2).

The red lead we supply is used for the production of materials including crystal and optical glass interchangeably with powdery and granulated massicot.

The NS2 type, owing to addition of a special medium, does not emit dust, which allows it to be transported and poured with a greater degree of safety as regards the health of employees.
